I am Luqing Zang, a passionate educator and researcher within the Curriculum, Instruction, and Educational Leadership department at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. My work centers around advancing research on human-centered teacher preparation, with particular attention to teacher wellbeing, community-based instructional practices, and the responsible use of emerging educational technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), to support early-career and pre-service teacher development and promote workforce sustainability in teaching workforce. I am also deeply committed to preparing future educators to be culturally responsive and linguistically sensitive in their practice.
